Details  :   Seidenfadenia was originally an orchid in the genus Aerides and was later changed to the genus Seidenfadenia.
Seidenfadenia is the only orchid in the genus Seidenfadenia, which was named in honor of Mr. Gunnar Seidenfaden, a Danish national, the former Danish Ambassador to Thailand who continuously studied and published academic works on Thai orchids for decades until the end of his life. His work is an important foundation for the Thai Flora Project.
