Details  :A good plant for beginners. Long strap-like leaves tapering to a fine point form a bulbous base then hang over and cascade down. The inflorescence is a nice bright red scape with purple flowers. Native to low altitude forests from South Florida to Central America. Ours is a Guatemalan clone, taller and more silver than Mexican or Florida plants.
