Details : Native to Borneo, Paraphalaenopsis laycockii is a terete-leaved (pencil shape) species that enjoys moist conditions and must be grown mounted. Produces floppy pale yellow to pink flowers and will reliably bloom up to 4 times per year once it reaches maturity. Flowers are numerous and have a sweet spiced cinnamon fragrance and are long lasting. This species improves in fragrance and display every year! Care is most similar to Phalaenopsis (which it was classified under), but with more of a preference of downward growth.
