Details  : The leaf color of the various stricta air plants varies from a an iridescent silver, to to light green, to bronze. It is assumed that the natural variety seen in this species is due its inclination to hybridize with other tillandsias. We have seen very clear Stricta and Ionantha or Stricta and Brachycaulos mixes at the farm.
