Details  :  Dendrobium Mentor is a primary hybrid between 2 dendrobium species, a cross between Den. polyanthum × Den. anosmum. Flowers are a lovely shade of pink. This is a very old hybrid registered in 1893. Fragrant flowers arise from the nodes on leafless canes, as the plants shed their leaves in spring, this is the time they bloom. Give them the winter rest like the parent species and they should bloom with lots of flowers on the pendulous canes.
